Who We Are
Jim Dykstra is CEO of Dytech Automotive Group and Dykstra’s Auto Service, which has locations in Hudsonville, Byron Center, and Grand Rapids Michigan. Jim graduated in 1994 from Ferris State University with an Automotive Sciences degree. Jim’s dad Rich started Dykstra’s Auto Service in 1984 in Hudsonville, and Jim became partners with Rich in 1995.
Jim started the Dykstras Auto Byron Center location in 2008, and the Grand Rapids location in 2011. In 2018, Jim purchased Auto Analyst in Kalamazoo and A+ Auto Service in Kentwood. In addition to being involved at his church and raising a family of 5 children with his wife Lori, Jim is very involved in the Automotive Aftermarket and takes a global approach with his involvement. Mark has been working in the Automotive Aftermarket for over 35 years. The majority of his career was spent at the warehouse distributor level. As Vice President of Marketing for Jobbers Warehouse Service, Inc., Service Dealer Marketing Manager for Auto-Wares Group of Companies and Director of Marketing for Parts Depot, Inc., Mark was instrumental in developing and delivering marketing and training programs to help the independent installer succeed in an ever changing business climate. As an AMI accredited instructor, Mark has trained hundreds of installers on how to use key programs available to them to reach out to and retain customers and improve their shops performance. Since 2008, Mark has been the General Manager of Dykstra’s Auto Service, Inc.
As General Manager of Dytech, LLC, Mark’s oversees the daily operations of the Dytech affiliated shops and has a key management role in the daily operations of Dytech. Mark is a past Chairman of the Automotive Aftermarket Parts Alliance Service Dealer Committee and has served on the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association’s Market Research Committee and is an Accredited Automotive Manager through the Automotive Management Institute.
Mark and his wife Tami have 5 children and 3 grandchildren.
Nick is committed to helping provide exceptional level of customer service and works as Director of Operations of Dytech and affiliated Dytech shops to help ensure outstanding professional service at every point of contact.
Nick has been around the Automotive Industry his whole life. Nick has always had a love for cars and serving people, he grew up around his father at a local dealership and working in many aspects of the Automotive Service Industry. Nick attended Ferris State University and Davenport University studying Business Management and Marketing. Since starting in 2008 Nick has served as a Service Advisor for Dykstra’s Auto in the Hudsonville location for 3 years as well as Service Manager at the Dykstra’s Airport location for 8 years. Nick is married and has 3 children.
