Founder & CEO
Jim Dykstra is CEO of Dytech Automotive Group and Dykstra’s Auto Service. Jim received a degree in Automotive Sciences in 1994 from Ferris State University. In 1995, he became partners in Dykstra’s Auto Service with his father, Rich Dykstra. Eager to grow the company, Jim started Dykstra's Auto Byron Center in 2008, then the Grand Rapids location in 2011 and then purchased the Auto Analyst in Kalamazoo and A+ Auto Service in Kentwood. Developing genuine relationships is the foundation of everything Jim does, both professionally and personally. He and his wife stay busy raising their 5 children. His past and current professional involvement includes:

Chief Financial Officer
As chief financial officer for Dytech Auto Group, Kyle Fitzpatrick CPA, is responsible for the company’s financial functions. Kyle has over ten years of professional experience spanning finance, financial planning and analysis, merger and acquisition transaction diligence, and public accounting. Kyle is a graduate of Ferris State University with a BA in Accounting and enjoys traveling with his wife and spending time at his lake home with family and friends.
Chief Operating Officer
Scott is Dytech’s Chief Operating Officer and has worked in the automotive industry for over 12 years. As a seasoned senior executive, Scott’s extensive experience includes field sales & operations, manufacturing, and supply chain & service. His passion rests in helping others achieve their career goals while fostering strong teams. Yet Scott’s true joy in life is spending time with his wife, Rachel, and their children Sam and Sophie.
Nick manages professional service for Dytech and affiliated shops. His passion for the industry came from his father's dealership experience and active in the industry participation. Nick attended Ferris State University and Davenport University studying Business Management and Marketing and has risen through the ranks since starting with the company in 2008 first as Service Advisor and then Service Manager at 2 Dykstra’s Auto locations. Nick celebrates life with his wife and 3 children.
Vice President Operations/General Manager
Mark manages daily operations and key management for Dytech. This AMI accredited 35-year veteran of the industry leverages his extensive experience to increase efficiencies that drive business performance. Mark has also been General Manager of affiliated shops since 2008. Mark’s previous experience include marketing leadership positions for Jobbers Warehouse Service, Inc., Auto-Wares Group of Companies and Parts Depot, Inc. Professional affiliations include the Automotive Aftermarket Parts Alliance Service Dealer and Market Research Committee. Spending quality time with his wife, 5 children, and 3 grandchildren rounds out his busy schedule.
Vice President of Business Development
With a strong background in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and financial planning & analysis, Fitz is responsible for leading the growth strategy of Dytech through partnerships with local shops and strategic acquisitions. From strategy to execution, diligence and valuation to M&A integration, his skillset offers extensive financial, tax, and operational experience. Fitz is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and an avid sports fan who enjoys productive use of his leisure time by getting outside and enjoying all that nature has to offer.
