Acquisitions Protect the Fabric of Local Economy
Dytech Auto Group has announced the acquisition of three automotive aftermarket businesses to its growing portfolio. The three shops include: Greener’s Auto Center in Holland, Michigan; Dave’s Garage in Wyoming, Michigan and Wheeling Auto Center, located in Arlington Heights, IL.
“We’re building opportunities where automotive repair shops can produce sustainable value as we grow our businesses. Securing these opportunities marks a significant accomplishment for Dytech,” stated Jim Dykstra, Founder and CEO of Dytech Auto Group. We have a firm mission to help independent automotive shop owners take control of their destiny. We understand that the hardest part of preparing a business for sale is finding the right time to exit. We’ve developed a flexible process to help transfer shop ownership efficiently and help sellers move on to the next stage of their life,” Dykstra stated.
It is reported that 30 percent of shop owners plan to retire within five years. Only 52 percent plan to sell their businesses. This leaves a potential gap for any local economy should shops decide to shutter their businesses. By acquiring locally owned, independent automotive repair businesses, Dytech Auto Group is able to help protect the local business community by improving operations, enhancing training, and protecting valuable jobs.
